When Bill Rosenberger was owner of Rosenberger’s Market, customers knew him as the quick-witted local butcher. Bill enjoyed gardening, woodworking, growing apples and making his own cider.
Born on May 22, 1934, Bill married Marilyn Steinard on April 14, 1956. The couple had 3 children, Beth (Kurt) Riedman, Tammy (Scott) Stirn, and Todd Rosenberger. They also have 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. Rosenberger served in Korea as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, a former member of Franklin County EMS 2, a former member of Blooming Grove Fire Department, a member of Brookville American Legion, Knights of Columbus – 4th degree, and was an honorary board member of Fairbrook Manor.
